Overview
As an Assisted Living Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents at The Residence at Skyway Park. Your primary responsibility will be to provide compassionate support to individuals with varying needs, including those with developmental disabilities and memory care requirements. You will work in a nurturing environment, ensuring that residents feel safe, respected, and valued while promoting their independence.
Duties
- Provide direct support to residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of medication administration.
- Assist residents with mobility and transportation within the facility.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
- Collaborate with team members to create personalized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
- Uphold the dignity and privacy of all residents while providing care.
Skills
- Experience in direct support roles, particularly with individuals having developmental disabilities or memory care needs is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols.
- Familiarity with group homes, retirement homes, or nursing home environments is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with residents and their families.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized living space while adhering to health and safety standards.

- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and healthcare professionals.
- Food Handler Certification (Required)
