Laundry Attendant
Residence Inn by Marriott – Stillwater
Job Summary:
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring the hotel’s linens, towels, and other laundry items are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to support housekeeping operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment following proper procedures.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store hotel linens, towels, and guest laundry as needed.
- Inspect laundry for stains, tears, and wear, treating or reporting as necessary.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
- Ensure proper use of cleaning detergents and chemicals according to safety guidelines.
- Assist in inventory control of linens and laundry supplies.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk teams to meet guest and hotel needs.
- Follow all hotel policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a hotel or commercial laundry setting is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
