Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join Residence Inn by Marriott Fargo team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during the breakfast hours, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. You will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness in the dining area, and handle cash transactions efficiently.
Duties
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area with food items, beverages, and utensils before service begins.
- Ensure that all food items are presented attractively and replenished as needed throughout breakfast service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, addressing their needs, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register or point-of-sale system.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including brewing coffee and preparing light meals or snacks.
- Manage guest relations effectively by communicating clearly and professionally at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items to guests.
Skills
- Experience with restaurant operations is preferred, particularly in a breakfast setting.
- Proficiency in cash handling and familiarity with cash registers or point-of-sale systems.
- Strong food preparation skills, including knowledge of safe food handling practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is a plus but not required.
- A passion for coffee and beverage preparation is highly desirable.
