Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing various areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
• Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as directed by management.

Skills

• Proficiency in floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, and buffing.
• Strong cleaning skills with an emphasis on attention to detail.
• Experience in hospitality settings such as hotels or resorts is preferred.
• Familiarity with custodial practices and housekeeping management principles.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods is a plus.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.25 - $17.25 per hour
