Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Residence Inn New Haven - Hamden. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are clean, well-maintained, and fully stocked to provide a pleasant experience for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and restocking supplies per Marriott Brand Standards.
- Clean and maintain public areas, such as hallways, restrooms, and lobbies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
- Handle guest requests for additional amenities or services in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Follow all hotel policies and procedures, including safety guidelines.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing exceptional cleanliness and service.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior housekeeping experience in a hotel or similar setting is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Must be able to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $17.00 per hour
