Housekeeping Supervisor

We are looking for an enthusiastic Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at the Residence Inn in the beautiful Missoula, MT! Successful candidates will successfully be able to oversee and coordinate with the housekeeping staff, ensure cleaning standards are being met, and provide training for their team. You will report directly to the Dual Housekeeping Manager and work closely with them on ensuring all standards are being met.

At the Residence Inn, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Supervise and ensure completion of all duties of Housekeeping staff
• Assist Manger with interviews, hire, schedule, train, develop, empower, coach & council, recommend discipline & terminations as appropriate
• Inspecting rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure that they meet cleanliness standards
• Creating and maintaining staff schedules
• Interacting with guests on a day-day basis
• Must know how to effectively use computers and computer software, such as; Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Pay:

$21 per hour

Schedule:

• Daytime
• 8-10 hour shift
• Weekends
• Schedule can vary week to week

Job Requirements

This role requires three years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, with prior supervisory experience preferred. Must know how to effectively use the various pieces of equipment/tools used in housekeeping. A high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical requirements include the ability to perform medium work – exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. This role requires the ability to stand for long periods of time and walk long distances, with the ability to kneel, bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms, as well as the ability to work under variable temperatures and noise levels. Long hours sometimes required. Must be able to multi task. Must possess good communication skills - fluency in reading, writing and speaking English required.
