What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Assistant position at Residence Inn by Marriott?
At the Residence Inn we have a high standard to meet. Our guests expect only the best from a Marriott Property. As the Maintenance Assistant you will help the Chief Engineer with Daily tasks to ensure the Property is up to standard and well maintained.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs.
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from building occupants.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Accurate References we are able to contact.
-Experience in building maintenance or a related field (Preference)
- Basic Electrical, Plumbing and mechanical knowledge.
- Basic Carpentry, Drywall and painting knowledge.
- Experience with both hand and power tools.
This position requires a candidate who is detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently. The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
