What are the responsibilities and job description for the Public Spaces Attendant/Shuttle Driver position at Residence Inn Helena?
Job Summary :
A Pubic Space person's main responsibility is to provide clean, and comfortable public spaces for guests
in line with Veridea's hotel standards.
Essential Functions :
Assists all guests in a sincere and courteous manner, whenever possible going the extra mile and doing
whatever it takes to ensure guest satisfaction.
1. Thoroughly and correctly cleans public areas of hotel according to Veridea Hotels operational
policies and standards to ensure guest satisfaction.a. Removes trash and debris from hotel public spaces (Gym, Lobby, Hallways etc.).
b. Cleans, sanitize, polish and dust all public area surfaces.
c. Proactively deep cleans areas in need.
d. Vacuums, sweep and mops public areas floors.
e. Reports unusual circumstances to Supervisor.
f. Reports maintenance requests promptly and attends to requests if maintenance team is
unavailable.
2. Maintains clean and organized cart and working area to maximize job efficiency.
3. Acquires working knowledge of the property and all facilities to respond to guest questions
effectively.
4. Understands and applies all hotel safety and security procedures as required to maintain a
secure and safe environment for employees and guests.
5. Keeps immediate Superior fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
coming to his / her attention so prompt corrective action can be taken.
6. Performs other duties as requested or required.
Job Duties :
1. Ability to accept directions and priorities from supervisor and reliably follow-through on tasks.
2. Ability to perform job duties with a minimum of disruption to the guest.
3. Ability to be friendly and cheerful; interacts easily with guests and co-workers.
4. Ability to cooperate and support others.
5. Ability to work independently with little supervision.
6. Ability to safely work with cleaning equipment and cleaning chemicals.
7. Attention to Detail.
8. Grooming and appearance must meet Employee Handbook Standards.
9. Shuttle Driver. Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Salary : $15 - $15
