What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Service Agent position at Residence Inn Marriott?
General Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and effectively
- Process reservations and manage room assignments
- Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality of personal information
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Requirements:
- Previous experience in guest services or customer service is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures is preferred
- Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using computer systems for reservations and guest management
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
-Basic computer and front office skills (Phones, Word, Google, Email)
-Available schedule is Thursday and Friday 7a-3p
