Pool/Facilities Attendant

Residential Community CDD – Tampa, FL

Residential Community (33647) is hiring a part-time facilities center attendant. The facility attendant is responsible to oversee the pool area, Beach Club area, and fitness center area, make safety announcements, enforce pool rules with courtesy and firmness, keep the pool area clean and tidy, serves residents by providing information and services. We do require cleaning once an hour in both areas due to CDC regulations* This position is outdoors and requires someone who is familiar with Florida heat.*

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Oversees pool area/fitness center (adult/children) and make safety announcements
- ‪Assists with set up and breakdown for poolside activities as needed
- ‪Must be able to submit and report incidents to the appropriate manager
- ‪Must be service-oriented
- ‪Picks up debris from the area and possess basic cleaning skills
‪- Reports broken equipment to manager so that replacement equipment can be ordered
- Must have the ability to work as a team member
- ‪Must be accessible to and approachable with residents/guests
- ‪Follows safety procedures and maintains a safe work environment

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred (MUST BE 18 )
• ‪One (1) or more years of experience in the Hospitality Industry is preferred
• ‪Effective verbal communication skills
• ‪Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills preferred

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• ‪Walk and climb stairs
• ‪Ability to respond to emergencies in a timely manner
• ‪Must be able to work outdoors
• Greet every guest with a smile and direct eye contact
• Must be able to work weekends and evenings
