Key Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural drawings and construction documents using Revit, ensuring high accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and detail drawings for residential projects, focusing on compliance with Florida Building Codes.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate project requirements and resolve technical issues.
- Revise and update drawings as needed, ensuring all modifications meet client and regulatory standards.
- Conduct code analysis and incorporate relevant requirements into project documentation.
- Review and verify designs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project guidelines and local building regulations.
- Support project milestones by meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
- Associate degree or equivalent in Architecture, Drafting, or related field.
- 3 years of architectural drafting experience in residential construction, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in Revit (mandatory) and other drafting software.
- In-depth knowledge of Florida Building Codes and regulations for residential construction.
- Familiarity with construction documentation standards and detailing practices.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Additional certifications in architectural drafting or building codes.
- Experience with 3D rendering software or building information modeling (BIM).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Able to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while meeting strict deadlines.
