Residential Elevators is actively seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paint Prep Operator to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in surface preparation and finishing techniques, ensuring a flawless final product that meets both aesthetic and functional standards. This position is also responsible for preparing and finishing residential elevator components.
It requires proficiency in sanding, caulking, and painting with a strong focus on quality and precision. Occasional overtime may be required depending on project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Surface Preparation: Clean and prepare elevator components prior to painting, ensuring all surfaces are free from dust, oils, and contaminants.
- Sanding: Prepare surfaces of elevator components by sanding to achieve a smooth, even finish, ensuring all imperfections are removed.
- Caulking: Apply caulking and sealants to joints, seams, and gaps, ensuring a clean, professional finish that meets industry standards.
- Painting: Apply paint to residential elevator components, ensuring even coverage and high-quality finish. This includes selecting appropriate paints and finishes based on materials.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of precision and quality throughout all prep and finishing processes, ensuring that all work meets customer and company standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products for defects, making necessary adjustments to ensure a flawless appearance and functionality.
- Maintenance: Keep work area clean and organized; maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and supervisors to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
