Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide consistent professional music therapy according to company protocols and certification practices
- Inform and educate patients, staff, and facility partners about music therapy
- Establish therapy objectives as part of patient assessment
- Plan, review, and assess therapy sessions to monitor effectiveness and aid in planning subsequent sessions
- Take an active role in sessions by playing instruments, singing, and listening
- Encourage patients to participate and support them by responding musically and improvising
- Support creative development and facilitate positive changes in behavior and well-being
We're Seeking Compassionate Professionals
- Bachelor of Music Therapy degree
- Current Board certified (MT-BC) credential
- State music therapy licensing where required
- At least six months of work/education experience in geriatric healthcare
- At least six months of work/education experience in end-of-life/terminal illness healthcare
