This role involves:
- Ensuring clinical staff meet their productivity goals
- Verifying case management guidelines are followed by each team member
- Assigning patients to multidisciplinary teams and adjusting schedules as needed
- Serving as the first point of contact for staff concerns and issues
- Training, developing, and mentoring staff in various areas, including recruitment, orientation, patient assignment, and employee reviews
- Regular communication with support staff to assess current needs, determine accountability levels, assign patients, and discuss job responsibilities
- Collaborating with leadership to address quality improvement, problem-solving, and other issues impacting the Hospice program's effectiveness
- Helping staff meet quality, safety, and competency requirements through training, professional development, and vacation coverage arrangements
To succeed in this role, you must be a compassionate Hospice Clinical Supervisor After Hours RN with:
- Licensed RN or BSN with current state license
- At least 2 years of Hospice experience required
- Desirable: Minimum 1 year of supervisor experience
- Familiarity with all regulations governing Hospice operations to ensure compliance
