RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales. This is a sales role first and foremost. You will be given the opportunity to work with both inbound and outbound leads and using phone, email and SMS to inspire prospects on the benefits of leasing with us. In the event the home they are looking at isn’t a fit? You will help them find another one which might be more desirable based on their criteria.
Developing new sources of leads. We market thousands of rental units in all of the usual places and all the big portals. How do we go beyond that? You will help us find new channels both locally and nationally to lease and manage more properties.
Growing & Moving up within the company. At Residential Renters we believe in total transparency and paying for performance. For every 250 homes you lease you will automatically move up to the next level and see a commensurate increase in your compensation.
Representing the Agency. You will be the face and voice of Residential Renters in the markets you cover. You will gain real experience in real estate investments and how to secure real estate investment opportunities.
Spending time in the market. You will be scouting your market on a semi-regular basis to tour properties and meet with the potential lead sources. You will become an expert on the markets you cover.

- Show properties and assist prospective renters with lease paperwork.
- Obtain new rental property listings through proactive sales and networking.
- Consult prospective renters and landlords regarding local rental market dynamics.
- Conduct market assessments to ensure competitive market pricing.
- Screen rental applications and present findings to landlords for approval.
- Present leases to qualified renters.
- Comply with all Federal and Local Fair Housing regulations and ordinances.

CERTIFICATION (CALP)
This course is designed for Leasing professionals to learn professionalism, teamwork, relevant laws, effective sales processes, virtual leasing and market analysis, all with the goal of developing the skills one needs to successfully bring in and retain residents. Engaging videos and lively discussions help to bring the key points to life.
To earn the CALP credential, candidates must complete the following:
- Minimum of six months of onsite property management experience in a leasing role (Experience can be obtained while taking the course; you will receive a provisional certificate and reimbursement once this requirement is met.)
- Successful completion of seven CALP courses
- Successful completion of the CALP examination within six months of declaring candidacy
