Job Overview
Care Team Technician
Responsibilities: To help residents achieve and/ or maintain their independence in a safe and healthy manner both in and outside of the home by assisting with cooking, cleaning, recreational activities and personal care services.
Essential Duties:
· Implement individual service plan with and/ or for resident
· Assist residents with performing personal care or perform personal care as needed
· Assist with and monitor daily living activities
· Be aware of and comply with CBRF regulations and rules and resident rights and regulations
· Monitor safety of home and grounds during shift, take corrective action as needed
· Complete required documentation and record keeping, and respect confidentiality standards
· Provide guidance in physical and social behaviors within the home
· Promote acceptable standards of hygiene and encourage nutritional dietary habits
· Shop for groceries and/ or plan menus as directed
· Cook meals and maintain clean kitchen
· Dust, vacuum, mop, clean bathrooms per cleaning schedule
· Wash, iron, and/ or fold resident clothing and bedding
· Follow organization policies and procedures and encourage resident compliance
· Attend required staff meetings or in-service meetings
· Participate in required amount and type of staff development activities
Nonessential Duties:
· Other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to balance, crouch, bend, stoop, walk, kneel, twist, stand and sit
· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
· Ability to push and pull up to 150 pounds
· Ability to be free of communicable diseases
