This is a full-time, on-site role for a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) located in Carrboro, NC. The PCA will be responsible for assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their daily living activities. Key responsibilities include providing personal care, supporting the development of independent living skills, promoting involvement in community activities, ensuring safety and well-being, and encouraging meaningful social interactions.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate and patient, with a desire to assist individuals with disabilities
• Ability to handle personal care tasks professionally and respectfully
• Experience in promoting independent living skills and community involvement
• Commitment to maintaining safety and promoting well-being
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in caregiving or a related field is a plus
• CNA certification preferred but not required
