What are the responsibilities and job description for the Thrift Store Clerk position at Residential Support Services?
Residential Support Services is committed to helping adults with development disabilities of all ages lead fulfilling and meaningful lives. Our staff in the Billings and Laurel areas support over eighty members of your community to work and play, make friendships, and contribute to the vibrant fabric of our city. Right now we have an opening for our brand new Thrift Store. We are looking for an employee to help run the store.
Starting pay is $14.50.
Tentative Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:30AM-6:30PM
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service
- Sorting and Hanging Clothing
- Ability to spend an extended period working in a standing position
- Perform work tasks while bending, stooping, climbing, and reaching
- Upkeep of designated area of the store (i.e. dusting, cleaning glass shelves, random bathroom checks)
- Check garbage
- Answer phones and take messages
- Assist customer in finding product
- Inform customers on weekly sales
- Assist with donations
- Follow all policies and procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
