Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Unarmed Security Officer to join our upscale event patrol team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, patrons, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, protecting patrons, serving as a deterrent, monitor the overall safety and security of guests, managing conflicts effectively, and providing customer satisfaction at all times. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall safety of the premises through foot and vehicle patrols.
Responsibilities
- Creates an immersive and enjoyable event experience for guests.
- Monitors events by making sure rules are being followed, ensuring no underage drinking or illegal drug use takes place on the site premises.
- Provides escort of attendees, directing foot traffic, ensuring guests are not in unauthorized areas and assisting guests with health problems.
- Monitors and serves guests in a gracious and accommodating manner; inform guests of overall site safety and security policies and resolving guest issues.
- Acts as a deterrent to criminal activity on the property and takes proactive steps to provide a safe/secure environment for staff and guests.
- Follows procedures for various initiatives, including fire prevention, property patrol and accident investigations.
- Protects the company’s assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues.
- Report safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances both verbally and in writing.
Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service one year plus is preferred.
- Familiarity with conflict management strategies
- Valid GA Motor Vehicle Drivers License
- Ability to commute to the desired location between event spaces
- Reliable Transportation
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
