Resilience Therapy, a group private practice in Tucson, is looking for a full-time (25 client hours per week) or part-time (15 client hours per week) child, teen, and family therapist with high personal integrity and high standards of practice to join our group practice. We seek a committed therapist who can create tailored, client-centered approaches and engage in culturally sensitive, strength-based, and trauma-aware services. Candidate must be compassionate, ethical, independent, driven, collaborative, and creative. We are looking for a new team member who can bring a fun and positive attitude and build connections with the team. The candidate will be an employee of Resilience Therapy.
We are located in the Village Offices at Camp Lowell and Swan. Requirements include having your associate level license (LMSW or LAC) or independently licensed to practice therapy in the State of Arizona and have 1 year of previous experience working as a therapist with children and adolescents. Compensation is percentage based commission on income received, and paid out bi-weekly. Therapist must have a niche(s) (children, art, trauma, grief, yoga, EMDR, family, etc.) and be willing to market themselves to grow their referral base and recognition in the community.
Requirements are:
- Master's degree in counseling, or social work
- Current State of Arizona license as a LMSW, LCSW, LAC, or LPC
- Willing to work 25-30 client hours per week for full time or 15 client hours per week for part time
- Experience working with children, teens and families in therapy
- Commit to working at Resilience Therapy for a minimum of two years
- Have knowledge about child development
- Able to provide in-office therapy sessions
- Complete a background check
- Obtain a fingerprint clearance card
- Prior private practice experience is a plus
THERAPIST DUTIES:
Demonstrates clinical excellence through:
- Offering individual therapy, family therapy, and/or parent guidance that is trauma-aware and values collaboration;
- Completing culturally and contextually-sensitive intake assessments;
- Thoughtfully diagnosing and completing a treatment plan that is client-centered
- Ethical practices and follows the core values of the profession
- Helping clients achieve their therapeutic goals through provided treatment
- Seeking advanced knowledge in specialization areas relevant to pediatrics;
- Working collaboratively with team members and community partners.
- Motivated to manage clinical caseload
