What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead/Supervisory Clinican position at Resiliency Center of Fresno?
The Lead/Supervisory Position is responsible for the clinical management of all counseling and case management services for the California Veterans Health Initiative under the umbrella of the Resiliency Center of Fresno.
Location: 7461 N. First St., STE 102 Fresno, CA 93720
The Resiliency Center is a trauma-informed mental health provider, working to identify and support youth and families impacted by trauma. We provide high-quality therapeutic services, emphasizing each client's value and potential. We are the recipient of a recent award from CALVIP to expand services to veterans and their family members. This position will work exclusively with these clients.
Staff oversight will consist of 2 LMFTs, 3 AMFTs, and 3 support staff.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a two-year master's degree program in one of the following areas: social work; marriage, family, and child counseling; marital and family therapy; psychology; clinical psychology; or counseling psychology. Must be obtained from an accredited school, college, or university.
- Possession of a valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Marriage, Family, and Child Counselor (MFT) license issued by the State of California, Board of Behavioral Sciences.
- Three years of experience in a mental health/substance use disorder residential or outpatient treatment setting post-licensing.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices, including targeted, evidence-based treatment modalities and measurement-based care.
- Experience in PTSD diagnosis and treatment.
- Experience working with military populations and/or veterans is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a combination of program oversight, staff clinical individual and group supervision, and direct service provision for the CVHI-MHS grant.
- Ensure that staff clinicians are providing treatment in compliance with established protocol and policy. Meet regularly with the clinical team to staff caseloads and keep abreast of current issues. Keep clinical staff informed of program updates.
- Work with leadership to establish a training and development plan for clinical staff.
- Monitor and facilitate the implementation of evidence-based practices by clinical staff.
- Provide quality assurance and ensure regulatory compliance for client files (both paper and electronic).
- Provide ongoing program evaluation and recommendations to the Clinical Director for continuous growth and quality. Prepare and submit weekly and monthly program reports. Provide ad hoc reports as requested by the Clinical Director.
- Provide evidence-based treatment to veterans and their families (e.g., spouses, children). This includes individual, couples, and family therapy for adults, adolescents, and children.
- Perform and document patient screenings, psychosocial assessments, and progress reports, as well as referral information.
- Conduct clinical assessments on veterans and family members as needed.
- Provide individual, couples, and family psychotherapy to patients, with a focus on delivering evidence-based treatments.
- Collaborate and coordinate with the caregiver, physician, case management, and other disciplines to provide the best care for patients as needed.
- Attend weekly clinical, supervision, and administrative meetings.
- Provide services via telehealth platform, as required.

Pay: $84,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
