Job Description: Resiliency LLC is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Mill Operations Specialist at our underground Zinc operation. Located in a scenic area with access to various attractions, this position offers a unique blend of work and leisure opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Manage quality assurance/quality control for the assay lab and mill operations.
- Monitor the process in the mill to maintain or increase production.
- Work collaboratively with the Mine and Shaft Depts to maximize opportunities and minimize production interruptions in the mine.
- Oversee mill maintenance planning.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues in the production process.
- Provide technical assistance to mill operators, millwrights, and lab technicians.
- Run tests on new ore bodies and chemicals to get optimal recoveries.
- Maintain chemical inventory and ordering.
- Metallurgical accounting and control of material inventories (concentrate storage, ore tanks, ore pad, etc.).
- Provide A/R Dept with access to metallurgical data for their preparation of provisional invoices, assay exchange and negotiation for final invoices.
- Communicate concentration inventories and production schedules to Shipping Dept daily/weekly to allow for efficient schedule of outbound concentrate haulage.
- Coordinate with Environmental Dept regarding discharge water quality, flow, treatment and TSF inspections.
Qualifications: At least 5 years' experience required. Possesses good communication and interpersonal skills. General understanding of mining operations, as well as vast knowledge of milling, flotation and maintenance knowledge and skill with P.C. utilizing word processing, spreadsheet, databases, and presentation software. Knowledge in processing modeling software is preferred. Strong verbal, written, analytical and persuasive skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management. Ability to work independently with little supervision. Demonstrate strong administrative, organizational and technical writing skills. Presently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Requires valid driver's license.
