Job Responsibilities
- Manage quality assurance/quality control for the assay lab and mill operations.
- Monitor the process in the mill to maintain or increase production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational excellence.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Provide technical assistance to mill operators, millwrights, and lab technicians.
- Run tests on new ore bodies and chemicals to get optimal recoveries.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of metallurgical data.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering or related field. At least 5 years' experience in mill operations, mill maintenance, and production. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license required.
