Position Overview:
We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate TMS Technician/Coordinator to join our growing team on a full-time (40 hours/week). This role requires on-site clinical work at our Newport Beach location. On-site availability is a must.

This role involves direct patient care duties, customer service and sales experience. Our ideal candidate must be able to take initiative, be adaptive, a team player, communicative, and have excellent customer service skills. Experience in the medical field is mandatory. Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities:

- Provide electronic data entry, EMR form management, and coordinate multiple TMS system schedules.

- Prepare verification of benefits for insurance, present fees and thoroughly discuss the treatments along with scheduling and payment/financing options with each patient.

- Collaborate with provider team daily to assist in patient communication via phone call or email, billing entry, prior authorization requests, and documentation requests as needed.

-TMS Technician Duties: performTranscranial Magnetic Stimulation treatments daily for patients, documenting treatments in EMR, and keeping patients comfortable during the experience.

-TMS Coordinator Duties: manage marketing platform for TMS leads daily, with sales experience necessary to call and convert potential TMS leads to come to our clinic for treatment. Clinical outreach and new referral source generation will be part of the role.

-Maintain cleanliness of office and staff spaces daily (we have a janitorial service for big cleaning).

-Keep rooms stocked with supplies, and work with practice manager to maintain inventory.

-Maintain client confidentiality in conformance with company policies, state laws, and federal regulations.

-Upload, file and organize patient charts and other office paperwork as needed.

- Medical billing experience a plus

*Pay will vary based on applicant experience.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Must be a self-starter, take initiative, be accountable, a team player, communicative, and have excellent customer service skills.
  • Health care experience required.
  • Experience with healthcare insurance preferred.
  • Excellent Customer Service experience required.
  • Excellent Communication and Excellent Organization skills required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills needed.
  • Must be technologically savvy in order to navigate multiple streams of contact and communication including desktop apps, email, phone app, EMR, online intake process, and lead scraping from several sources.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions and to work with general guidance.
  • Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor's Degree required.
Previous Medical Office experience required.
Previous Customer Service experience required.
Previous Sales experience required.
Previous Concierge Service Industry experience preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of Mental Health experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Prolonged periods of standing.
Must be able to traverse the entire facility.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at time.
Must be able to lift TMS coil and use motor skill coordination.
Must be able to climb 3 flights of stairs.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
