What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse Manager - Medical Oncology/Outpatient Infusion position at Resiliency?
The Manager of Oncology Services will provide ongoing administrative coordination and management of the services and activities, which comprise the Infusion Center, Lab, Medical Oncology Physician Practice Operations and liaison to scheduling, registration and pharmacy services.
To work with Oncology Service Line Leader, physicians, and associates to develop and implement policies and procedures regarding patient care and flow in a manner, which is consistent with the Cancer Center's mission and SPIRIT values. Assure maintenance and seek improvement of daily operations, including associate management, business and clinical functions, facility maintenance, patient relations and physician business. To work with the Oncology Service Line leaders, physician leaders in Oncology to enhance the cancer care provided to patients.
Skills and Certifications
Bachelor's in Nursing required. Master's in Healthcare Administration preferred.
5 years experience in nursing, with at least 2 years in outpatient oncology operations.
Position requires experience in managing departments.
Maryland Registered Nurse License
American Heart Association CPR Certification
OCN required upon eligibility for exam
