What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fitness Instructor position at Resilient Fitness?
We are looking for a dedicated, energetic fitness instructor to lead functional fitness classes. You will also have an opportunity to train clients one-on-one at our facility. Looking for someone who can create fun, results driven workouts and effectively coach our functional fitness group classes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct group fitness classes, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for participants.
- Develop and implement personalized fitness programs tailored to individual client needs.
- Provide instruction in various fitness disciplines, including kickboxing, yoga, and Pilates.
- Monitor client progress and adjust programs as necessary to achieve fitness goals.
- Educate clients on anatomy, body mechanics, and physiology to enhance their understanding of fitness.
- Promote health club services and encourage member participation in fitness activities.
Qualifications
- Certification in group fitness instruction or personal training
- Strong understanding of physiology and body mechanics
- Experience in teaching various fitness classes
- Background in program design and fitness sales
- Knowledge of health club operations and member engagement strategies
- Ability to motivate and lead diverse groups in a gym environment
