Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Process Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering legal documents to individuals involved in court proceedings, ensuring that all processes are handled efficiently and in accordance with the law. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
- Serve legal documents such as subpoenas, summonses, and complaints to individuals in a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate documentation of service attempts and maintain records of all served documents.
- Communicate effectively with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders regarding the status of service.
- Conduct necessary follow-ups to ensure successful delivery of documents.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal standards throughout the process.
- Perform courier duties as needed for transporting files and documents between offices or courts.
- Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations related to process serving.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in legal studies is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Process Server or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation for travel between locations.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and processes is advantageous.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

- We are looking for someone to drive all over King County all of our jobs pay per paper and up to three attempts on some of them. Is this something you can do?
- Can you commit to this full-time? As a 1099 independent contractor?
- Are you ready to start right away can you go and obtain your process server registration?
- Are you open to driving in Snohomish County as well?
- Are you okay with serving after 8:00 a.m. before 9:00 p.m. a lot of the times after 6:00 p.m.?
- Ability to use an app for each serve, are you good with technology on Smart phones?
- There is a paperwork side to this that is very important so are you familiar with PDF documents scanning and printing?
- Do you own a printer and scanner?
- Do you own your own vehicle?
