Job Description Summary
The Trainer position with ResMan fills an important client-facing and internal role for our company. The Training Specialist will assist in the onboarding of team members and train new and existing clients with specific focus on demonstrating and reinforcing ResMan’s service-focused culture.
The position requires both virtual training as well as in-person training at remote locations throughout the country up to several times a month. The position also requires that the team member have a detailed, working knowledge of the ResMan software product and responsibility for training end users to proficiently use our software.
What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)
- Works directly with the Manager of Training, Lead Trainer, and Clients to ensure training is facilitated in a timely manner
- Utilizes established and effective training methodologies, techniques, and ideas
- Facilitates client training sessions either On Campus, Off Campus or Virtually
- Conducts internal training sessions for ResMan team members including new hire onboarding, role-specific training, and ongoing continuing education programs
- Identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses
- Responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining training materials and databases to ensure ongoing accuracy and relevance, including facilitator agendas, learner agendas, and training presentations
- Sets up and maintains training facility and resources
- Attendance/Punctuality - Consistently at work and on time; ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; arrives at meetings and trainings prepared and on time
What We’re Looking For (Minimum qualifications)
- On-site Multi-family property management experience preferred. Affordable (HUD, Tax Credit and Rural Development) or Accounting experience is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce preferred)
- Highly developed in interpersonal skills
- Polished communicator with a high comfort level of delivering information to large groups
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Up to 50% travel
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or one- to two-years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
