Resolute Elevator LLC is a rapidly growing, independent business in Burlington, NC, providing services throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. We specialize in the prefabrication and installation of modular elevators and the modernization, installation, repair, and maintenance of conventional elevators.
We seek a Process Improvement / Quality Control Specialist who excels in independent problem-solving and collaborative teamwork. In this role, you will develop and refine our in-field processes and quality procedures, gather and analyze performance metrics, and identify opportunities for operational enhancements. You will also lead change management initiatives, communicate improvement plans, and secure stakeholder buy-in to ensure successful implementations.
Key Responsibilities
Process & Procedure Documentation
- Accurately document current in-field processes and procedures to promote clarity and efficiency.
- Establish and document new processes and procedures, ensuring they are clearly communicated and effectively implemented.
Quality Control
Accurately document current in-field quality processes and procedures.Establish and document new in-field quality processes and procedures.Collaborate with the Field Foreman and field technicians to develop or improve quality processes and procedures.Maintain Quality Control / Assurance logs, checklists, and records, ensuring timely completion.Train field technicians in quality control measures to enhance overall performance.Data & Metrics Management
Maintain, update, and create daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics and dashboards.Assign responsible parties to oversee metric dashboards and monitor their performance regularly.Prepare thorough close-out reports and ensure metrics accurately reflect achievements and insights.Continuous Improvement & Change Management
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and quality, eliminate waste, and reduce production and field operations costs.Actively promote Lean Manufacturing principles and facilitate training to expand team knowledge and skills.Act as a liaison between field operations and management to initiate corrective actions, secure stakeholder buy-in, and oversee successful project implementation.Regularly gather data on the effectiveness of new processes to drive continuous improvement.Safety & Compliance
Foster a safety-first mindset, assisting in developing and maintaining safety guidelines.Ensure the safe operation of equipment and manage regular maintenance schedules.Communication & Team Collaboration
Schedule and lead weekly and monthly quality meetings.Communicate with field technicians regarding quality issues and improvement opportunities.Support and motivate team members, reinforcing existing abilities and encouraging professional growth.Additional Duties
Document new product introductions, safety protocols, quality measures, and processes.Perform any additional tasks assigned.Essential Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.2 years of experience in quality control or process improvement.Proficiency in continuous improvement tools (Lean, Six Sigma) and change management processes.Proven ability to conduct root-cause corrective actions and document processes effectively.Detail-oriented, with strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.Strong computer skills. (MS Office).Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proactive approach with leadership abilities, including experience training and motivating team members.Proficiency in process mapping and information management.Work Schedule
