Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Help clients with mobility, including lifting and transferring them safely as needed.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in the client's condition to healthcare professionals.
- Assist with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed health regimens.
- Maintain a clean and safe home environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Support clients in engaging in social activities and maintaining their independence.
Requirements
- Experience in home health care or nursing home settings is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to lift and assist clients as required, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with ADLs, patient care techniques, and basic nursing skills is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
