We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Specialist to join our team. Duties
- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist residents with mobility and lifting as needed to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
- Engage residents in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
- Monitor residents’ health and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Uphold resident rights by ensuring privacy, dignity, and respect at all times.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to hygiene standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in senior care, home health, or assisted living environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of CPR and first aid is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Ability to cook nutritious meals that cater to dietary restrictions when necessary.
- Understanding of resident rights and commitment to advocating for their needs.
- A background in social work or related fields is beneficial but not required.
- Must be able to lift individuals safely as required by the role.
