Job Title: Epic Consultant
Location: Hybrid – Onsite & Remote (Location Chicago)
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Epic Consultant to support an upcoming Epic implementation, upgrade, or optimization project. This role requires hands-on expertise in Epic modules, system configuration, workflow optimization, and end-user training. The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and adoption of Epic solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support Epic system implementation, upgrades, or optimizations based on project needs.
- Configure, test, and validate Epic modules to align with organizational workflows.
- Provide functional and technical expertise to end users, ensuring system efficiency and compliance.
- Collaborate with IT, clinical, and operational teams to enhance Epic system performance.
- Conduct user training, go-live support, and post-implementation troubleshooting.
- Ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy, and adherence to industry best practices.
Qualifications:
- Epic certification in at least one Epic module (e.g., EpicCare Ambulatory, Resolute, Beacon, Cadence, etc.).
- Proven experience with Epic implementations, upgrades, or optimizations.
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows, revenue cycle management, or reporting tools within Epic.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work both onsite and remotely, depending on project requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with healthcare organizations, hospitals, or large provider networks.
- Familiarity with Epic’s latest updates and functionality enhancements.
- Knowledge of data migration, interoperability, and third-party integrations with Epic.
