Job Summary
We are currently seeking a Facilities and Equipment Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance and Repair
- To perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of equipment and machinery.
- To diagnose and repair complex problems with electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.
- Facilities Management
- To maintain a safe and healthy working environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- To oversee the upkeep of facilities, including cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving
- To identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment and systems.
- To develop and implement solutions to prevent future problems.
Requirements
- Experience
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in maintenance and facilities management.
- Skills and Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Prior experience as a maintenance technician or facilities manager is desired.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documentation.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
