Sr. Network Security Engineer Lead

• This will be a hybrid role in the office several days per week.

Sr. Network Security Engineer Lead Summary :

Primary responsibility to help implement, maintain, and support the network infrastructure. Other responsibilities are to supervise engineers, support the global Help Desk and regional Network Administrators as a second level support standpoint. The Network Engineer position requires hands-on knowledge of operating systems and server technologies, LAN networking and devices, WAN technology with remote office connectivity, Security related devices and technology. Provides feedback, suggestions, troubleshooting, and guidance to system administrators. Documents, tracks, and monitors any related problems to ensure a near 100% network uptime. This individual will coordinate all efforts with various team members of the Information Technology Department.

Sr. Network Security Engineer Lead Education and / or Experience :

Bachelors degree (B.A) in Business Administration, Computer Science from four-year college or university; or three to five years previous experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Sr. Network Security Engineer Lead Language Skills :

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

Sr. Network Security Engineer Lead Mathematical Skills :

Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Sr. Network Security Engineer Lead Other Skills :

Excellent coordination skills with demonstrated results. Advanced knowledge of telecommunications and data networks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including demonstrated ability to interact and communicate with all levels of an organization. Excellent team participation skills. Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple and varied projects. Excellent technology skills, including the use project management, database management, presentation and word processing software. General understanding of the role of technology in supporting organizational effectiveness. Understanding of current computer and Internet technology.

SDWAN or SASE experience is a plus.

Sr. Network Security Engineer Lead Certificates, Licenses, Registration :

The candidate will possess current certification in either Cisco, Palo Alto and / or MS Azure via an accredited education institution and / or any of the widely known professional associations in their respective field.

Sr. Network Security Engineer Lead Physical Demands :

High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities; sound judgment and the ability to work under time pressures. Physical requirements include sight, hearing, sitting for more than four hours a day and other physical requirements required to perform the essential functions of this position. Sr. Network Security Engineer Lead Work Environment

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This position may require up to 20% travel including international travel. The Information Technology department is a twenty-four (24) hour per day, seven (7) day per week, three hundred sixty-five (365) per year operation. This position will be required to participate in a schedule that will required evening, weekend and holiday working hours and / or on-call response.
