What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dive Medical Technician position at RESOLVE MARINE GROUP, INC?
The Dive Medical Technician (DMT) provides on-site medical support and emergency care to divers and crew, both topside and underwater. Reporting to the Dive Supervisor, the DMT ensures that all diving operations meet the highest safety and medical standards. This position may require domestic and international travel to project sites.
Position Responsibilities:
- Medical Support & Emergency Care: Provide immediate medical attention for diving-related and non-diving injuries, including emergency procedures as required.
- Hyperbaric Chamber Operations: Operate, maintain, and inspect hyperbaric chambers while following proper protocols for inside tender procedures.
- Dive Operations Assistance: Offer medical oversight during SCUBA, surface-supplied, and mixed-gas dives, focusing on hazard identification and prevention.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all treatments, chamber activities, and related administrative tasks to ensure proper tracking.
- Health & Safety Training: Conduct training on emergency procedures, first aid, and safe diving practices to enhance overall team preparedness.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with dive teams, salvage crews, and project personnel to ensure continuous medical readiness and integrated operations.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Fulfill additional tasks as needed to support project objectives and maintain operational efficiency.
