We are looking for a highly skilled Azure Data Engineer to join our team at RTS. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and solutions on Microsoft Azure. This is a full-time opportunity for professionals who are passionate about working with big data technologies, data lakes, and cloud-based data solutions.
<>Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Databricks.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes to ingest, transform, and load data into cloud-based data warehouses.
- Implement and maintain data lake architectures for structured and unstructured data.
- Work with Azure SQL, Synapse, Cosmos DB, and Data Lake Storage for scalable data management.
- Optimize data processing performance and ensure data security compliance.
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business teams to understand data needs and deliver insights.
- Develop and maintain data models, metadata, and documentation for data solutions.
- Automate data workflows using Azure Logic Apps, Functions, and Power Automate.
- 3 years of experience as an Azure Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL.
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT design, data warehousing, and data lake architectures.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark for data processing and analytics.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is a plus.
- Knowledge of data governance, security best practices, and compliance standards.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) or equivalent.
- Experience with real-time data streaming using Azure Event Hub, Stream Analytics, or Kafka.
- Familiarity with Power BI and data visualization tools.
