Job Description:
Position Overview:
The training resource will be responsible for developing, organizing, and delivering comprehensive system training for end users impacted by the Documentum (D2) implementation.
This role requires a deep understanding of the system, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create engaging materials that facilitate learning and adoption.
Experience training on systems designed for Engineering, Construction, or Operations preferred.
Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
- Training Development
- Using Adult Learning Theory develop detailed training plans, instructor guides, curriculums, and schedules tailored to impacted user groups
- Create engaging and informative training materials, including manuals, quick reference guides, computer-based training modules, and video tutorials
- Training Delivery
- Conduct training sessions in various formats (in-person, virtual, small group, and large group)
- Provide hands-on training and support to ensure users can effectively use the new functionality
- Recommend continuous learning programs to encourage reinforcement
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with IT project team and business stakeholders to understand training needs and requirements
- Documentation & Reporting
- Utilize internal learning management system to maintain up to date training documentation, attendance, and classroom schedule.
- Track and report metrics based on training progress, attendance, and feedback
- Identify and document training issues and resolutions
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, Documentum D2 or other ECM experience preferred
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in easy-to-understand language
- Proficiency in creating training materials using various tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, e-learning authoring software, video editing tools, etc.)
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Education, Business, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field or work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT training, system implementation, or related role
- Proven experience in developing and delivering training programs for IT systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $70.00 - $75.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
