In this role you will:
- Split your time between working in the warehouse and at a desk entering shipping and receipt information into the computer system.
- Enter all incoming Equipment and Consumables into the MESM IT System ensuring that all information is correct and accurate.
- Process all returns following all laid down procedures.
- Pick, Pack and Dispatch all outbound Equipment and Consumables from the MESM Distribution Centre to Sites ensuring that all information is correct and accurate.
- Assist the US Supply Chain with weekly PI checks and annual stock checks.
- Ensure that you adhere to safe working systems and the ISO 9001 processes and highlight any potential hazards to your line manager.
- Ensure that the warehouse is kept in a clean and tidy manner and that all waste is disposed or recycled correctly.
- Good IT skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good leadership skills; ability to help others
- Ability to pay strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work with team members and other departments.
- Must be physically able to move pallets with a pallet jack
- Must possess a strong sense of urgency
- Ability to operate a forklift (will train)
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
