AERONAUTICAL ENGINEER
Resonant Sciences LLC has an immediate opening for an Aeronautical Engineer to join our Dayton, Ohio team. The position provides an opportunity to join a fast-paced elite team whose primary mission is to support our Nation's War Fighters. The candidate for this position shall be a self-starter who can work independently, unsupervised, and with little guidance. The candidate will have an opportunity to be a member of a world-class team consisting of talented and dedicated engineers, technicians, and professionals who work together to interrupt and challenge the status quo to design and develop state-of-the-art technologies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The selected Engineer will have responsibility for and should have expertise in the following areas:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Aeronautical Engineer will design, develop, and test new aircraft and components.
The selected Engineer will have responsibility for and should have expertise in the following areas:
- Oversee tests of existing aircraft, recommend design modifications that will increase aircraft performance levels.
- Use computer design and engineering systems to design aircraft and components.
- Work with Electrical Engineers on aircraft design changes that will impact overall aerodynamic performance.
- Rapidly iterate in a fast-paced design environment with numerous stakeholders ranging from Operational Analysis to Mechanical Engineering.
- Establish maintenance and repair schedules to ensure aircraft always meets top safety and performance requirements.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- Five years of experience in aeronautical engineering preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and technical writing skills.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships as part of a technical team in a fast-paced environment.
- Work efficiently in an environment without the need for regular, direct oversight.
- U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to obtain and/or maintain a security clearance. Active clearance preferred.
