Position Summary:

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team! In this role, you'll have the opportunity to wear many hats—installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment throughout our property to ensure everything runs smoothly. Your work will help us create a welcoming and comfortable environment for both guests and staff. Essential Functions:

  • Maintain and repair equipment across the property and in guest suites, keeping everything running smoothly for a great guest experience.
  • Provide emergency repairs as needed to ensure suites and property remain in service.
  • Be available for the PM shift as scheduled and respond to maintenance-related guest calls.
  • Work independently with little supervision, taking ownership of the tasks and projects assigned to you.
  • Turn in a daily report of completed tasks, including any items that may need attention from the AM team.
  • Take the initiative to fix issues when you notice them and report updates to your supervisor.
  • Perform repairs on walls, tiles, carpets, and touch-up painting/caulking as needed.
  • Diagnose issues, replace or repair parts, and ensure everything is operating at its best.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on equipment, property, and facilities.
  • Handle plumbing, electrical, and carpentry functions when necessary.
  • Use hand and power tools, electrical meters, and other equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Spot faulty operations, defective materials, or unusual situations and report them to the supervisor.
  • Follow safety regulations, maintain tidy and organized workspaces, and keep up with OSHA and local standards.
  • Always strive to perform tasks safely and efficiently, contributing to a well-maintained, welcoming environment for everyone.
  • Perform other tasks as needed to support the team.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
Experience: One year experience in Resort Maintenance, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, painting and/or HVAC

Computer Skills: N/A

Certificates & Licenses: Technical trainings
