We are in search of a Per Diem As-Needed Maintenance Technician.
In this role you would be responsible for the operation, routine servicing, and care of a wide variety of specialized equipment.
Under the training / guidance of the maintenance director will temporarily provide safe and efficient execution of work as scheduled, providing problem analysis for equipment history, and appropriate action in response to emergencies.
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities :
- Assist in performing routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address any maintenance issues.
- Help in maintaining the grounds and outdoor areas, including snow removal and landscaping tasks.
- Monitor and replenish maintenance supplies and equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with the maintenance director to ensure the overall upkeep of the nursing home.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and procedures at all times.
- Report any maintenance concerns or issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Make minor repairs on handrails, windows, flooring, walls, ceilings, beds, wheelchairs, geri-chairs, electrical equipment, sprinkler systems, generators, emergency lighting, fire alarms and extinguishers, change filters on HVAC equipment, carries, lifts and stocks supplies.
