Responsibilities
- This position will also perform the duties of a Security Supervisor, as required.
- Conducts background investigations on assigned candidates for employment.
- Conducts inquiries and investigations assigned into alleged instances of malfeasance or misconduct.
- Ability to operate non-gaming CCTV System.
- Conducts themselves in accordance with Casino Control Act and DGE regulations, departmental procedures and company policies.
- Prepares detailed incident or investigation reports in a clear and precise manner.
- Reviews videotape and make composites as assigned.
- Familiarity with DGE and self-exclusion process.
- Patrol the complex to deter crime and maintain order.
- Attends and supervises Security staff assigned to special events and entertainment shows to ensure safety and security.
- Participates as an administrator for electronic Security systems, devices and equipment.
- Testifies in court or gives depositions on incidents.
- Performs all other and related and compatible duties as assigned.
- Promotes outstanding customer relations.
Qualifications
- Strong computer skills.
- College degree (may substitute additional experience for degree).
- Minimum three (3) years Casino Security or Law Enforcement experience.
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License, excellent driving record & ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- Must have knowledge of video camera systems.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
