Pay rate: $13.77
- Prompt, efficient, and friendly quality service and preparation of beverages to any and all customers.
- Communicate to his/her superior any difficulties, guest comments and other relevant information.
- Up-sell and regularly replenish beverages, abiding by responsible alcohol service regulations.
- Converse with Guests about alcoholic beverages, advising the types and styles of beverage, taking beverage orders and serving beverage.
- Promote, sell, make and present cocktails.
- Comply with legal provisions of local liquor codes.
- Assess guest’s intoxication level and takes appropriate action as needed.
- Monitor factors which interfere with the total experience of the guest.
- Correct use of refrigeration system.
- Effectively operate the post-mix syrups bulk dispense system.
- Operate the beer reticulation system.
- Adhere to stock control procedures.
- Comply with all department rules, regulations, policies, procedures and internal controls and any and all local, state and federal rules and regulations.
- Accept payment and/or comp authorization upon service of all beverages prepared and/or served.
- Comply with ABC training.
- Balance register at end of shift.
- Participate in developing specials.
- Train interested beverage servers for the bartender position.
- Attend periodic meetings and training sessions.
- Promote positive public and employee relations.
- Present oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Work/Educational Experience:
- Must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school or equivalent diploma and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the New York State Lottery regulations.
- Servsafe Certified.
- Must be a knowledgeable mixologist.
- Must be willing to become TIPS certified.

Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests. Fluency in English required, second language a plus. Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal, and work with mathematical such as probability and inference. Ability to create, read and analyze spread sheets of statistical data. Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request.
