Essential Duties/Core Competencies:
- Responsible for the safety of all guests and employees of the casino/hotel.
- Records investigation and incident reports in a timely manner.
- Provides customer service to all guests when needed.
- Patrols casino during shift to ensure safety.
- Maintains casino rules, policies and regulations are being followed set by the casino and the NY gaming commission.
- Stands post for extended times as assigned by manager.
- Reports to manager on responsibilities on day-to-day activities.
- Controls and diffuses potential problems and assists employees and guests in emergencies.
- Controls access to the video lottery facility and restricted areas.
- Responds to back-up calls immediately.
- Prepares reports of significant activities.
- Maintains radio contact with base at all times during assigned shift.
- Attends periodic meetings and training sessions.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
- Demonstrates consistent regard and dedication to guests, vendors, colleagues and the Company by being engaged, interested and productive.
- Demonstrates a working knowledge of our marketplace; actively and collaboratively assists in building the best practices necessary for the Company’s success.

Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests. Fluency in English required, second language a plus. Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal, and work with mathematical such as probability and inference. Ability to create, read and analyze spread sheets of statistical data. Ability to decipher various reports and maintains reports upon request.
