EV Project Manager 2025 Job Overview

Shall be available during working hours to carry out the duties of a project manager including but not limited to:

• Review and understand civil and electrical scopes, print drawings if necessary. Develop rough outline from installation scheduling.
• Fill out product verification documents for warehouse manager for purchase ordering.
• Maintain the EV operations dashboard by keeping on relevant data current.
• Schedule and conduct pre-construction meetings with clients for each assigned job. Identify details pertinent to the installation (i.e. access issues, storage, parking, work shifts, bathrooms). Coordinate scheduling of each job with client and relay scheduling need to warehouse manager for product purposes.
• Work with other PM on future job planning needs and finalizing the electrician’s schedule on a weekly basis.
• Manage Outlook Implementation calendar with other PM with the weekly schedule for electricians. This will go along with the weekly schedule email and need to be updated when changes in scheduling occur.
• Manage all equipment rental so that the job site functions are completed on a timely basid but we manage within the project budget.
• Prepare job packets with finalized materials sheet and as-built documents for electricians each job start.
• Offload all job information to lead electricians on Day 1 of each job in the field. Manage timing of material getting to each site with the warehouse manager and driver. Manage start process of each job with lead electrician including product check in and solution demos.
• Be available to answer calls and questions from electricians in the field with issues on jobs and physically go to job sites as needed. Bring scope questions and issues to operations manager as needed.
• Track progress of jobs and communicate schedule changes as needed to operations manager and clients.
• Track daily hours of civil crew and electricians for payroll sheets.
• Create change orders as needed and communicate monetary changes in scope to clients in a timely manner. Communicate product needs to warehouse manager for approved change orders.
• Communicate material and tool needs from electricians to warehouse manager.
• Complete final walkthroughs of completed jobs with electricians and clients to make sure jobs are complete. Collect job wrap up sheets from electricians and go through all job issues in profitability meetings. Document issues in the Issue Log and job hours in the Quarterly Bonus Tracker.
• Schedule and complete verification walks with utility representatives and verify rebate funds have been sent to AP. Update rebate trackers with your assigned jobs.
• Be present for all company safety meetings. Communicate all safety issues and incidents to Electrical Administrator.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
