POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Our client currently has an exciting and strategic opportunity for the position of Vice President of Marketing. The primary responsibility of this position will be to create, manage and execute all marketing strategies to support business growth objectives and enhance brand equity and awareness. This position is responsible for planning, staffing, training and managing all marketing functions to achieve Company objectives.
We are looking for a strong leader who will oversee key relationships with customers, suppliers and strategic partners and guide the development of current and next generation products. The Vice President of Marketing will be a highly visible and critical role, key to important product development, partner engagement, and business development to implement the strategy for our hybrid memory storage business.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong understanding of computer, storage, and memory architectures
- Competence with Core IP blocks of memory, NAND and ASIC architectures
- Experience with CXL architecture, suppliers offering CXL products and customers planning to adopt
- OS, Application and device driver understanding
- Create, manage and execute all marketing and communication strategies to achieve Company objectives
- Develop unique value propositions and partnerships targeted toward product growth and revenue
- Analyze, evaluate and execute on both existing and new market strategies to achieve targeted results
- Develop benchmark criteria to measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and implement improvements
- Manage and mentor marketing staff to deliver and exceed expectations while creating opportunities for growth
- Develop key messaging and presentation material for senior management, customers and investor community
- Marketing or business development experience in the computer hardware OEMs or server, workstation, supercomputer technology field. DRAM industry experience for servers and technical understanding of memory sub-systems is strongly preferred
- Must have excellent written and communication skills and be comfortable interacting at the executive level
- Have the ability and desire to work as a team member in a matrix organization as well as to work independently for maximum goal achievement
