We are currently looking for candidates to fill our open Supervisor of Patient Support position. The Supervisor of Patient Support is responsible for the leadership of the Patient Support Staff and for ensuring the completion of all daily on-site activities. Additionally, this position will support on-site management under the leadership of the Director of Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the oversight and execution of all duties of Patient Support Staff at assigned facilities
- Maintain assigned caseload including seeing in house patients and working call backs timely and appropriately setting the standard in quality of work for your peers and subordinates
- Support area management in all Quality Assurance/Reporting Activities which may include - Weekly/Daily Approval & Denial Reports, Weekly Billing Reports and Account Progress/Denial Reviews
- Ensure adherence to all RCA policies and procedures by all RCA on site employees and coordinate with Director of Operations to address variances in process or procedures
- Ensure that all referred accounts are screened and processed timely, appropriately and efficiently
- Ensure work space order and cleanliness is maintained at all times
- Guide Staff in daily process and provide feedback and guidance on questions/cases with which they may not be familiar
- Assist area management with the completion of account audits based on facility threshold.
- In conjunction with area management, provide corrective action to Staff when policy variances occur
- Assist with training for new staff as well as ongoing/updated training for current staff
- Be prepared to assist with extra duties of staff who may be absent or behind on assigned duties
- Ensure that all compliance rules and policies are followed including RCA, Hospital, and HIPAA guidelines
- Quality assurance tasks will be assigned to Supervisor Of Patient Support as deemed appropriate but Director of Operations will maintain responsibility for the timeliness and accuracy of all Quality Assurance and Facility Reporting
Job Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 2 years equivalent experience with RCA with demonstrated ability to meet other requirements
- Prior Medicaid and/or eligibility experience a plus
- Demonstrated leadership with peers and subordinates that provides a history of positive and appropriate interactions
- Proven ability to establish qualitative and quantitative performance measure for all employees and experience in providing ongoing feedback
- Proven strong organizational and interpersonal skills including time management and prioritization
- Demonstrated skill in utilization of office equipment including computers
- Must be self-motivated, highly dependable and reliable
- Bilingual English/Spanish
