Manufacturing facility in Jacksonville IL is seeking Warehouse Lift Truck Operators to perform functions in manufacturing plants or distribution facility. The lift truck operator is responsible for moving finished product, material and supplies. The operator is accountable for safe and efficient operation of the vehicle.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS
-Must be able to safely and efficiently operate the lift truck- Observe necessary safety precautions.
Identify and report the following to warehouse manager: Equipment problems, quality problems, unsafe practices and conditions. Operates lift truck between departments, building and grounds.
WORKING SCHEDULE & PAY RANGE:
-6:00 am-6:00 pm OR 6:00 pm -6:00 am

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Current OSHA forklift certification required
- One year of previous experience as a lift truck or clamp lift operator
- Must be alert and attentive
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS
-Must be able to safely and efficiently operate the lift truck- Observe necessary safety precautions.
Identify and report the following to warehouse manager: Equipment problems, quality problems, unsafe practices and conditions. Operates lift truck between departments, building and grounds.
- Move product through facility
- Fill out necessary paperwork for reporting safety, quality, production, damages and loading and unloading verification.
- Collects and delivers a variety of materials, adhering to good safety practices in carrying out duties.
- Delivers materials to work areas as directed
- Stacks materials in storage areas and loads shipment in trailers.
- Prepares and checks necessary receipts, records and reports
- Housekeeping on a daily basis: ensuring that all areas in which he or she works are clean and all items are stored in their proper places.
WORKING SCHEDULE & PAY RANGE:
-6:00 am-6:00 pm OR 6:00 pm -6:00 am
- $ 19.60/ Hour
