SUPPLIER QUALITY ENGINEER
Our client is a growing IATF16949 certified manufacturer of Brake rotors and calipers for Racing and High-Performance Niche OE applications. We have an immediate career opportunity for a
Supplier Quality Engineer . This is a mid-level position in Quality.
Duties for the role
Responsibilities :
- Collaborating with SUPPLIERS for the company maintain all regulations and requirements
- creating and updating a supplier database with updated records of performance
- assist in researching the best vendors and suppliers with purchasing
- acting as a liaison between vendors and company leaders, determining solutions to any challenges to quality standards
- visiting vendor facilities to ensure they uphold quality standards
- leading other employees involved in assessing supplier quality standards
- developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors
- lead / monitor supplier launches on quality / delivery / costs / timing
Skills :
MUST HAVE SUPPLIER / EXTERNAL COMPANY AUDIT EXPERIENCE.
stamping / plating / casting / materials preferred)
