What your day-to-day might look like?
Project Leadership: Lead the planning, implementation, and completion of ecological and water quality restoration projects, overseeing timelines, budgets, and resources efficiently.
- Lead turnkey/full delivery/PRM and banking projects from permitting/design to stewardship.
- Employ the best practices available at RES and model the behaviors and mindset that result in the best outcomes for the project and client
- Understand the revenue recognition process and the different ways of contracting projects
- Assess the financial state of projects, including budgets, % complete, revenue, margin, and cash
- Develop pro formas to assess returns to RES and determine go or no-go
- Coach the Project Delivery team on accurate forecasting and execution to support the P&L
- Assigns PMs to opportunities, meet regularly with PMs to help them prioritize tasks and solve problem, and provide mentoring, coaching, and training to develop the team
- Mentor and manage a team of PM’s to deliver projects that meet schedule, budget and quality goal
- Plan, schedule and execute the full range of project tasks for various complex projects.
- Estimate project costs and evaluate bids from subcontractors.
- Use project management software, such as MSFT Project or Procore, to improve project delivery and communicate with key stakeholders
- Coordinate internal resource sharing
- Communicate with stakeholders to execute tasks as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Report opportunity and project performance to regional leadership
- Support a culture of “team-selling,” ensuring that PMs are active in driving the sales process by coordinating the
- Show commitment to the growth of the region across all project types, including Advisory, Turnkey/PRM, and Banks
- Develop proposals and pro formas with th e help of in-house resources
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in applied sciences, engineering, or similar field
- 10 years of progressive experience in applied sciences, engineering, or environmental services
- 5 years of Project Management Experience and/or team leadership within the 10 years
